Meet the team...
Todd Simmons
President and CEO
As President and CEO of Simmons Construction Company, Todd Simmons brings 20 years of contracting experience to the table. Todd is a fourth-generation Arizonan who, throughout his career, has focused his efforts on proactive strategies in commercial and custom residential building in Arizona with the highest level of quality.
Todd Simmons actively oversees all operations for Simmons Construction Company. He is directly involved in conceptual estimating, pre-construction services and quality control. Todd prides himself on the fact that every project he is involved with is handled with the utmost care from the highest level at Simmons Construction Company.
Kimberly Harkins
VP of Operations
Kimberly's years of experience in building and development cover many valuable areas for the Company. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and also attended Graduate school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Prior to her ten year career at Simmons, Kimberly's experience has also covered property entitlement and real estate law. She has served in key roles for both a large valley title company as well as a well-known real estate law firm. At Simmons, Kimberly oversees the team’s daily operations and personally manages the Homes by Simmons division.
Diane Pellegrino
Controller
Diane brings her eighteen years of experience in construction to Simmons. Before joining the Company in early 2007, Diane served as controller/office manager for a mid-sized commercial general contractor. During that time, there were approx twenty-five projects at different stages of construction which were maintained by her accounting team. For the twelve years prior to that, Diane was co-owner and operations manager for an electrical contracting company. Diane's expertise covers a broad range of project types. She understands the needs of owners and financial institutions and works diligently to accommodate our sub-contractors.
Terry Christensen
Senior Project Manager
Terry's twenty-five year career in construction began with major valley contractors like Joe E. Woods, Kitchell and Target General. He started out in a fast-paced environment and hasn't slowed down since. Terry joined Simmons as the senior project manager in October of 2006 and oversees, on the average, six commercial projects. Throughout the years, he has held key positions in construction management, from estimating to project closeout. Terry attended Arizona State University, majoring in Construction Engineering.
Ed Stacknick
Project Coordinator
Ed's prior experience includes a thirty year career at a major pharmaceutical company where he held various management positions in product scheduling, warehousing and quality assurance. When Ed, as a manufacturing department manager, headed up the planning and remodeling of his department's facilities, he began to take a bigger interest in construction. Ed has served as project coordinator at Simmons Construction since January 2006.
